In July 2025, Central Texas experienced heavy flooding that caused more than 130 fatalities and displaced hundreds of people from their homes.

We provided free, emergency housing to 385 people including firefighters and first responders, volunteers, and family members who needed to be close to search and rescue operations.

Airbnb.org worked with All Hands and Hearts who identified residents in need of temporary housing and helped to connect them to free Airbnb.org stays. Read more here.
